Fishing
Learn how to identify fish, select fishing sites, ice fish, prepare fish for the table, mount fish, and fish safely. You will also learn rules and regulations for fishing, selection and care of fishing equipment, using natural and artificial lures, keeping a fishing journal and how to read lake maps.

Scrapbooking
Learn how to get started in the fastest growing hobby. Record your memories through photos, writing, and memorabilia. Supplies, cropping your photos, page design, and much more will be discussed and explored.

Learn about breeds of horses, basic horse care, grooming, showing, training, safety, nutrition, behavior, anatomy, and health.

Horseless Horse
Learn about horses without owning one in this project. Participate in programs where you will have contact with horses. Attend or participate in a horse show. Visit with people who know about horses.

Veterinary Science
Learn to recognize a normal healthy animal from its attitude, behavior andappearance. You will learn how to take the temperature and pulse of an animal, about the causes of disease, nutrition, disease prevention, environmental influences on animal health and about veterinary medicine as a career.

Cake Decorating
Learn how to choose and use cake-decorating tools, make frosting, apply decorating techniques, work from a pattern or make your own design.

Drawing & Painting
Topics may include drawing with a pencil, chalk, crayon, pen and ink as well as painting with watercolor , poster paint, oil and acrylics.

Learn to select, feed, manage, fit, show and evaluate a dog. Attend meetings and training sessions at the County Level.

Learn to select, feed, manage ,fit ,show and evaluate a cat. Attend meetings at the County Level.

Vegetables
In this project you will explore basic gardening practices, getting to know your soil, planning, preparing, planting, and caring for your garden. Explore harvesting and marketing methods. Study how to raise vegetables organically.

Photography
This project will show you how to care for your camera and select the correct film, as well as helping you to develop skill in the areas of composition, lighting and special effects. As you progress with the project, you will become better able to control and adjust exposure, sharpness, and shutter speeds. Finally, darkroom techniques and arrangement of finished photographs will be covered.


Arts and Crafts
This project serves as an introduction to the arts and crafts area. Projects might include macrame, stainglass, woodburning, scultpure, candle making, as well as others. The limits of this project are the limits of your imagination.

Computers
In this project, you will learn how computer software and hardware operates, how to program a computer, and how to make projects using a computer.

Cloverbuds
(5-7 year olds)
This educational program for youth in kindergarten, first and second grade and focuses on building self-esteem and creativity. Discover 4-H through experiences in expressive arts, mechanical sciences, environmental education, personal growth, animal sciences, home economics, and many more. Choose from such fun activities as meet my pet, create a critter, sketching skills, flag fun, puppets with pizzazz, snack attack, smart shopping, bike driving skills test, birds I have seen, trees are tremendous, my family tree, a walk in my neighborhood, make a terrarium, my cup of soil, chemistry and cake, and my weather log.
